All over the world, gardeners hear the call in Fall

The cranes - les grues. You hear them long before you see them... They fly over us in the Dordogne (France)... We are on a major flyway. They fly from Norway-Finland to Spain and Africa.

They announce winter... They generally circle above us, seeking thermals that will boost them higher...
