Our snow crocuses (C. minimus) bloomed February 25 this year. That's three days later than the earliest we'd previously recorded, even though it's been an oddly warm winter. So it seems the freakish warm spell did not fool them.

Steven likes the symmetrical form of this colony, but Janet looked and said, "Good grief divide those, they're so crowded! Spread them out."
