Blue squill (Scilla sibirica) is a wanton self sower. Plant it only if you can allow it to appear anywhere and everywhere.

The pink flowers with the white spotted leaves are what Janet learned in the UK as 'boys and girls' (Pulmonaria saccharata), so named for the tendency of some to be blue in bud yet open pink so that a single flower cluster shows both colors.
