Winterastilbe
It's a good idea to clean up a garden in fall -- it saves time
in spring when decayed stems are much messier to cut and clear
away. Yet some plants in some places simply must be admired in
winter. That's the case with this Astilbe tacquetii
'Superba' that grows in the bog within our pond. It makes the
winter scene as we look out our back door.
