Carrot for a queen
Some questions have no answer. All we can do is shrug and
laugh. For instance, whyizzit that:
...nibbles on the wild version of a cultivated plant always
leave us wondering why anyone ever chose to eat it, let alone put
centuries of work into cultivating and selecting!

This time, we tried Queen Anne's lace, which is Daucus
carota, the species from which all carrots have been selected. The
taste wasn't bad, just bland. But tough -- holey moley it was
tough!
