Fall is spring bulb planting time. We often just toss the bulbs in groups of 2 to 5, and then plant them. Then in the spring they come up in clumps. Not here! Here we placed and spaced for a solid mass of bloom in the spring. We'll remove them after bloom and replace them with an equally massive annual planting.
