Karen Skandalaris

Karen Skandalaris has been designing

custom residential and municipal landscapes since 1992. She specializes in large-scale naturalistic landscapes, water gardens and historical renovations. As a Bonsai enthusiast her designs reflect an intergrated Asian influence. Karen holds a Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts/Advertising Design from Wayne State University and an Associates Degree in Graphic Desing and Photography. She has completed extensive course work in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Design at Michigan State University. She has also earned the Michigan Nurseryman Certification and a Certificate of Landscape/Garden Design from the Michigan School of Gardening. Karen instructed at the Michigan School of Gardening from 1998 to 2008.
