Sue Grubba
Sue Grubba, a landscape designer since
1985,
founded her company, Creative Scapes, in 1991. Creative Scapes
specializes in Landscape Night lighting, Garden Maintenance and
Landscape Design. Since 1990, Sue has taught numerous horticultural
courses which have been well received at locations including Master
Gardener Conferences at Michigan State University, Chicago
Botanic Gardens, Chicago Morton Arboretum, the Toronto Landscape
Ontario Congress, the St. Clair Co. Master Gardener Conference, and
Schoolcraft College, as well as the Novi, Silverdome and Ford Field
Home and Garden shows. Sue assisted in the development of the
Michigan School of Gardening curriculum in 1996 and had been a
Senior Instructor since its inception. She was awarded the
Michigan School of Gardening's Certificate of Gardening Fine Arts
in 1998 and Certificate of Landscape and Garden Design in
2003. Sue earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Central
Michigan University and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oakland
Community College with Certification in Landscape Technology. She
became an Advanced Master Gardener in 1993. Currently, Sue is
President of the
Association of Professional Gardeners and has been on the board
since 2005.
Sue has learned to brush and dapple plants with light, and loves
to share both the how-to and the results with others through her
design business, her talks and classes, and here. Here are a few of
